She is strong and respected and not afraid of the future. She gets up in the morning and gets things done.
She speaks with a gentle wisdom. The word “valor” is used in the Hebrew Scriptures for “persons of ‘substance’” which is defined in terms of “strength and capacity, wealth and skill.” She engages in “loving instruction” or “kind teaching.”
She is always busy and looks after her family’s needs. She esteems in her long-term, loyal friendships and family values.
Her children show their appreciation, and her husband praises her. When a woman seeks appreciation she is more accurately wanting to be understood, to be validated.
He says, “Many women are good wives, but you are the best of them all.” All she needs was our time.
Charm is deceptive and beauty disappears, but a woman who honours the Lord should be praised. She exudes His peace, she offers His hope, she knows His Word, she speaks His truth, she embraces His people, she glorifies His Name.
Give her credit for all she does. She deserves the respect of everyone. She will always be my true comrade.
